What’s behind the iC Consult Bootcamp?

Whether you already have experience in the identity space or are coming from a completely different field, the three-day IAM Bootcamp gives you a hands-on introduction to key IAM topics. You’ll work in teams on realistic tasks, gain practical experience, and get to know our tools, processes, and values.

At the same time, the Bootcamp is your chance to connect with fellow new joiners and start building your internal network. From day one, you’ll experience our company culture and lay the foundation for your future at iC Consult.

What does the Bootcamp look like?

The iC Consult Bootcamp lasts three days and usually takes place in Munich. New hires from across Europe come together to kick off their journey with us. The agenda includes expert talks, hands-on exercises, team projects, and demos – led by experienced team members from across the company.

Particularly noteworthy: the active involvement of our management. You’ll get to meet the CEO Central & Southern Europe, COO, CTO, CRO, and the SVP Enterprise Identity Management in person.

Day 1 – Getting to know each other & our culture

The first day focuses on our vision, strategy, and values. You’ll get an introduction to our leadership principles and company structure, and connect with your peers through fun team tasks. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a relaxed dinner – an ideal setting to get to know the international team and mark the start of your journey with us.

Day 2 – IAM basics & practical exercises

On day two, we dive into core IAM topics. You’ll get an overview of our Access Management portfolio and foundational IAM concepts. In group work, you’ll tackle realistic use cases, develop solution approaches, and present your results.

As one participant put it: “Getting to work on real tasks right away was great. It helped me feel more confident and retain what I learned better.”

We wrap up the day with another shared dinner – often combined with a fun activity like a city tour or team challenge to keep the spirit high.

Day 3 – Enterprise Identity Management & demos

The final day is all about Enterprise Identity Management. You’ll gain insights into project methods, architecture, and real-world customer examples. In various demos, our team presents leading IAM products and shows how they’re used in practice.
