We are looking for a Head of Controlling (m/f/d) to strengthen our team. This key position is open to candidates in Hamburg, Munich or remotely and offers a unique opportunity to drive financial excellence in our organization.
Your Responsibilities
- Report to the CFO and work hand in hand with colleagues from global functions and regional finance departments in different countries, guiding the controlling team effectively
- Provide transparency and analysis on monthly closings as well as ad-hoc analyses
- Shape and support mid-term planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Provide performance insight and steering impulse into the group and its subsidiaries
- Analyze business activities and KPIs from a financial and operational perspective, including special KPI reports, ad-hoc deep-dives as well as special analysis of performance relevant topics
- Foster trustful stakeholder relationships with your counterparts in the local businesses
Your Skills and Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, coupled with a proven track record in controlling, ideally within an international setting
- Very good analytical skills and knowledge in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and utilization of a Business Intelligence (BI) tool
- Demonstrated project management- and leadership capabilities, with experience in guiding teams, and fostering stakeholder relationships
- Outstanding communication skills coupled with a strong problem solving ability to analyze complex issues and deliver solutions within deadlines
- Fluent in both German and English, ensuring effective communication across diverse teams
